About this event

A short intermediate course offering theoretical and paractical hands-on training.

Under pinning knowledge:
•    lime cycle, materials and uses.
•    Materials and techniques for retrofit mortar/ plaster applications.

Practical sessions:
•    Using mortars for building and repair.
•    Using Plasters for building and repair.

Brief outline:

Day one: 7hrs
Half day underpinning knowledge in classroom, covering lime cycle, technical details, applications, materials, tools and techniques.
Half day live practical work.

Day two: 7hrs
Full day practical work mixing and using lime mortars in various applications.
Day three: 7hrs

Full days practical work, mixing and using Lime plasters and renders in various applications.
