About this event

Find out about the process, successes and challenges of the transformation of a Grade I listed church into a community and events centre led by a local community group. Hear from the Benington Community Heritage Trust about the formation of the trustees, understanding local (rural) need, pitching for investment and securing support and working through the construction programme. A Q&A session and tour of the building will also take place.

This event is tailored for community groups, not-for-profit groups or charities who intend to deliver a new use for a historic building.

Tickets have to be purchased before the day.

Light refreshment will be available, lunch will not be provided.
